Peace on the Road PDF Print E-mail

The hours I slaved, the sleepless nights,
To cruise the road in luminous lights
Black cloud behind me my life is cheery,
Sixteen more miles my eyes are weary
Open the throttle with rigid leather glove.
Roar of hot pipes, blue thunder above
Alone with my thoughts, eternally more
Key in my pocket, to fit a locked door
Awaken sleeping souls my motor will rumble
Depth of the night the sweet smiles do mumble
Burdens forgotten, my saddle bags I unload
Heart of polished steel, I find Peace on the Road.
